QuestionAnswer
Do I have to be a developer to join OSCELOT No! Whilst there is certainly a place for people with a knowledge of code, we also have members whose strength lie in pedagogy. If you are an experienced teacher, you might prefer to offer assistance to new projects to capture early usability and accessibility requirements and solutions. If you are artistic, you can share your talent by helping us to improve the style and feel of the OSCELOT website by contributing artwork. You could also contact project leads to offer your assistance designing graphics for their projects. You are always welcome to help testing early project releases. Contact the individual project's lead to let them know you would like to participate in this important task.
Is OSCELOT only for Blackboard projects? Definitely not! OSCELOT was started by a group of developers who believed in the open source model and whose institutions used Blackboard as their learning environment. Naturally they began developing and sharing solutions for the products they knew best. OSCELOT though, is bigger than Blackboard and we welcome projects that look at any aspect of technology enhanced learning.
